As the name implies, The Moonlighters get together when their other projects allow - the members all play in other bands, including a local trad jazz band, The Deeping Dixielanders.

    The Band

Helen

Whilst living and working in Chile, Helen sung in local venues interpreting jazz and bossa nova tunes with Chilean musicians. She has performed regularly in London, and since moving to Lincolnshire now sings with various jazz line-ups.

Being multi-lingual, Helen sometimes includes lyrics sung in Portuguese, Spanish and French.

Mary

Mary trained at The Royal College of Music as a classical pianist and violinist, and taught violin in schools. She moved into jazz some 10 years ago with Meta Jazz in Cambridge and as pianist in The Rutland Big Band. With colleagues she founded Jazz Mark Four, a modern jazz quartet which played across Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. Alongside The Moonlighters , Mary plays regularly in Cambridge with Jazzwave and the Hot Numbers quartet.

Graham

Graham began his musical life playing drums with various semi-pro bands around Nottingham and Sheffield. He took up playing bass about thirty years ago, and since then has played in many bands and has been musical director for a local drama group, writing music for many of their productions as well as taking acting roles too.

He also plays banjo, guitar and piano.

In The Moonlighters Graham plays acoustic and electric double basses, and  4 and 5-string bass guitars.

Tony

Tony plays various styles of electric and acoustic guitar in pop, country and jazz bands, and in a vocal and guitar duo.

When not 'moonlighting' he may be spotted on banjo in various local Dixieland bands, or on bass guitar.

Have guitar, will travel!
